![]() ![]() Being made up of almost nothing but dangerously tight turns with very few rails blocking you from falling to your oblivion, this track is an all out battle royale when racing in higher cc’s. It is easy to see why Neo Bowser City easily falls into the least favorite category. The bouncing music notes and the dancing Piranha Plants are just a couple of my favorite moments. Music Park is not only infectious in tone, but it is also really fun to play, and because there are not many opportunities to fall off or get stopped, there are certain key areas to be hit in order to get that boost to first. The music theme is always fun, and then the multiple percussion instruments you drive around on, adding to the music playing in the background, is always a blast, no matter how many times I drift across those xylophones. What this track lacks in difficulty, it makes up for in charm and atmosphere. Music Park is my favorite new course, and It is not because it’s challenging, because it certainly isn’t that. Music Park – Reuben Mount, Ben Lamoreux, Joe Love I really wasn’t a big fan of underwater racing, but I did enjoy the section where you have to drive either through, or on top of, a giant water wheel and into a lake where lava was being streamed through. With some neat gliding, multiple path options, a ton of tight turns, and some Thwomps here and there, you’ve got yourself a pretty tricky track. In Mario Kart 7’s case, it most certainly did. Though not my personal favorite Rainbow Road, this one definitely lives up to the name.īowser’s Castle is another series staple in Mario Kart, and with each new entry, it’s always exciting to see if the newest version will live up to those of the past. The lack of guard rails means that incautious drivers will spend a lot of time falling off the edge, and with a ton of speed boosts scattered throughout, finding yourself trying to land a jump in open space is a frequent occurrence. Just as every Rainbow Road should, it looks great, and is very difficult. Unlike other Rainbow Roads as well, you spend some time off the track and traversing the surface of a moon. Instead of having laps, this is one of the few tracks in Mario Kart 7 to feature sections, meaning the entire race is spent seeing something new. The newest iteration of Rainbow Road is probably the most unique of the series. For those ZI readers out there still avoiding banana peels, doing flips in the air, and keeping your fingers crossed that no one will use a blue shell on the 3DS, I thought I would gather a few of the favorite and least favorite tracks of us here at the ZI staff and share them with you. I never have problem finding racers in my region to go against, so I know I’m not the only one still playing, if only every once in a while. If I’m not in Grand Prix I am looking to race online. Whenever I play now, it is to try and get a 3 star ranking in every cup, and I’m currently stuck in 150cc. I don’t play my copy nearly as often as I used to, but I do pick it up more often than my other 3DS games when I’m just looking for something to kill some time. This isn’t surprising, 7 is an amazing racing game, and more importantly, an amazing Mario Kart. List of all the Cups and Tracks in the game. When we asked you guys a couple weeks ago what Mario Kart game you were still playing, we got a ton of different answers, ranging from Super Mario Kart all the way down to Mario Kart 7, but with the majority claiming the most recent entry for the 3DS. Is always best if you play the cups at 150cc which it gives you the feature of unlocking the tracks but characters each time you win a cup. Here you can find a list of all the Mario Kart 7 tracks and how to be able to unlock them all. With the addifitons of racing under water, flying your car and the 3D aspect of the game it gives an old game a new feel and look. The game has always try to improve on what it delivers and is always trying to find a way to make the casual gamer enjoy the game. Mario kart has invented themself from the first time that it was released about 20 years ago. ![]()
